Truck Landia is committed to helping people learn about the wonders that are food trucks. Have you always marveled at the quirky, enticing food trucks you’ve seen parked along the side of a busy street? Have you ever wished you could be as enchanting as their owners? 

You’re in the right place. Denise and Hilary, the faces of and brains behind Truck Landia, have been owners of their own food truck for almost 10 years, serving delectable street food from all over the world. They were inundated with new customers after traveling around the US to serve people at festivals and conventions. 

They have since amassed over 60,000 followers on Instagram and are always looking for the next place to drive their truck. But, what’s life without a little competition? Denise and Hilary travel far and wide across the US for the sole purpose of finding amazing food trucks in every state. 

With more and more chain restaurants popping up, it’s time we give food trucks some more love and attention!

Meet The Team

Denise Zanman 

Hi, my name is Denise Zanman and I have been a foodie for as long as I can remember. But I didn’t have a clue about food trucks until I first saw one along the golden sand beaches of California. 

I remember it so clearly it’s almost like I’m back there now. It was a sunny spring day and we had spent the long day at the beach. But before driving back to the hotel, we stopped on a whim at a food truck parked on the sandy promenade.

I had a creamy grilled cheese sandwich while my husband had a burger and loaded fries. Now, that grilled cheese was the best thing I had ever eaten. I think I might have accidentally eaten the majority of my husband’s fries, too. 

That set me on my mission. I was going to find the best food truck in America, and I was going to have a great time doing so. I have now visited over 50 food trucks, and I’m showing no signs of slowing down!

Hilary O’Shea

Hello, I’m Hilary and I have been a cook for over 20 years. I started out in small restaurants, moving my way up to the big Michelin-star cowboys in the city. But something always felt off… I couldn’t put my finger on it. 

That was until Denise came to me after her trip to California. We have been friends since high school - there’s no splitting us up. She told me about her mission to find the best food truck in America. 

Hilary O’Shea Trucklandia

I’ll be honest - I didn’t think much of it at the time. That was until she invited me to visit one in our local state of Florida. It was a tiny truck with glass bulb lights hung all around it and large colorful signs out front. It looked like a dream!  

The food was some of the best I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly. I had the crazy idea to start a food truck myself, and who better to bring along for the ride than Denise? 

Now we’re on a never-ending mission to get our name out there and find the best food truck in America (apart from ours, obviously).
